Revised critical writing question

Original question - How does skincare packaging affect gender stereotyping?

In my presentation,  I spoke about looking at colours, shapes and comparing both gendered packaging. However, having researched more into skincare, I don't feel there is much to talk about if I were to look into a question solely on skincare design as a whole.

After discussing the question more and what I wanted my critical writing piece to look into, we came up with the question; 'How do skincare brands design packaging that reflects both current ethical concerns and social issues?'. As I wanted to stick to the gender route and look more into the changing ways of society in terms of the LGBTQ+ movement, the question sounded more direct and current. 

For the critical writing piece, there will be discussions and points about sustainability, materials, packaging wastage (ethics) and social issues surrounding gender identity.
